Vendors in Orange County

Hello I am planning my wedding for 10/16/10, we are thinking of having it in a hall so we can bring in all of our own vendors. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for caterers and florists.

Thank you so much!!

That is a good way to save money--getting a hall and choosing your vendors.

My venue has it's own food so I'm not much help there.  However, I can suggest a florist who I LOVE!!! Bride and Bloom Flowers. brideandbloomflowers.com Good Luck!

I'm using the Ole Hanson Club in San Clemente.  With the exception of security (required if serving alcohol), you bring in all of your own vendors.  The venue holds a max of 150-160, has an ocean view and is very reasonable in rates.  It's a historic building with a lot of charm and little need for extensive decorations.

There are a few down-sides to this location though, with the biggest of which being that everything has to be finished up by 10pm most nights and 9pm on Sunday.  It's in a residential zone, so I understand.  We are having a luncheon to get away from the night time restriction.

sorry... as far as catering...  we are using Lucille's BBQ.  They have a reasonable per-person meal and we love eating there.  The type and style of food also fits our personalities.  Ole Hanson can be as formal as black tie or as casual as pizza.

my floral is being done by a family friend who has retired from working as a florist.

I highly recommend Kristin at The Treasured Petal. She is an amazing florist and has a wonderful spirit about her. One of our favorite vendors by far!! http://thetreasuredpetal.com/

I used Downtown florist in San clemente, prices were awesome, and Krista worked w/ me on an amazing design.
    Caterers...
I've been to a lot of charity events catered by Creative Cusine, and What a dish, both have tasty food, I don't know about prices. I've been to events by 24 Carrots, and didn't like their apps. or salads, but entrees were good, didn't like their staff though. check out Project wedding for some good local vendor reviews. GL!
