Does anyone have any recommendations for a pre-marital counselor in the Orange/Santa Ana area?  I've seen a few online but none with any reviews.

We were married in the church so we went through the Catholic program called Engaged Encounter. We did a weekend retreat with about 30 other couples getting married. I would say that the program includes about 20% religious discussion (one of the leaders is a priest) and the rest is just some really good discussion on the issues that surround any marriage whether you are religious or not. I highly recommend it, even for non-Catholics.

I think the above suggestion is a good one.  If you belong to a church, you may want to go with that route. 

Are you a college student?  The reason I ask, is because when I was in college I was having some serious depression issues and I was able to see a grad student counselor at my university.  She was very helpful.  I'm sure they do relationship counseling too--plus it was FREE!

It's considered against ethical guidelines for therapists to publish reviews, so you'll have a tough time finding them. I would recommend Psychology today's search tool. http://therapists.psychologytoday.com/rms/ to find someone who would be a good fit for you in your price range. Or if you want PM me and I'll make some recommendations.
