    Well I'm of course this may or may not be within your budget or close enough to your area, but I LOVE the Spark Woodfire Grill in on main street in Huntington Beach. They have yummy food and great views of the beach. It is also a great place to take big groups!

    we had our rehearsal dinner at maggiano's. lots of food and great banquet family style prices.

    Depends on what you are going for, but Salt Creek Grille in Dana Point is nice or Ti Amo in South Laguna Beach is cute!

    i might be going a bit more casual than most, but i'm having mine at BJs. i figure it's upscale for a pizza joint! and it's a place i like to take out of towners, and most of my wedding party and fiance's family are coming from out of town
