Boulder: Where Are the Hidden Gems for Reception and Ceremony?

We are recently engaged and just beginning the hunt for our wedding venue.  Most of our guests will be from out of town and we would really like to have that "Colorado" wedding in Boulder that is also conveniently located for our guests to get around and enjoy the city without the added expense of a car.  We are not opposed to having 1 site for the ceremony and 1 site for the reception and shuttling people from one to another, but would like to avoid having to provide that service all night for people to get back to their hotel, unless we can do both in one spot.  We would like our ceremony pictures to have the flatirons in the background, but are not as concerned about the backdrop for the reception since it will be in the evening.  I thought there had to be some beautiful estate you could rent around here, or a hotel with fabulous views, even the roof top of a office building with the Flatirons as the back drop would be great!  But, all I am seeing are the usual suspects, Chautauqua, St. Julian, Boulderado, etc.  We will have 150-200 guests, all suggestions welcomed!  Thanks so much!

Not sure if you've seen this site yet, but www.weddingsitesandservices.com is pretty comprehensive.

A Spice of Life Event Center has views of the Flatirons, and a space definitely large enough to hold your party.  Their outdoor ceremony location would have your guests looking at the Flatirons during the ceremony.  However, their event center is in the middle of a golf course and I wasn't a fan of the atmosphere there.  The people are super nice though.

Have you tried Rembrandt Yard?  Right across the street from Boulderado.
