Boulder wedding venue

My fiance and I are planning a wedding this summer with around 40 guests. We would like to have the reception outside, if possible.  Does anyone have any suggestions? We tried to see if we can hire a wedding planner, but it doesn't seem worth it to pay $3500 for planning an intimate, small wedding.

Yeah, I would definitely agree that a wedding planner--especially at that cost--isn't necessary. You still might want to consider a day of planner+ for more around $1000 (or much less even). In terms of great venues, especially for that size, check out:

Chautauqua lawn/community house (very pretty and perfect smaller size)

A little outside of Boulder, we thought about The Golden Hotel in Golden for my daughter's wedding.  However, we never actually visited the place or spoke to anyone about it. but something to check out.

I'm getting married at Little elk meadow lodge. I LOVE it and a better price than anything else you'll find, $500!!! I fell in love with it the moment I went up to visit it!!
