Vendors with short notice wedding discounts?

My fiance and I are considering moving our wedding up a year to this may, I've heard that some vendors and venues give discounts for short notice weddings. Has anyone heard of this in the colorado springs area?

    Our videographer is new to CO and is currently running specials...I'm not sure of the specifics though.  They are based out of Longmont and may offer a discount if they don't already have a wedding booked?  Wouldn't hurt to ask--worth a try anyway!

    on FB under "Visualities Videography"

    I know a lot of vendors offer discounts for Friday weddings, instead of Saturdays....that is another thought!
