Online Wedding dress orders???

So wanted to see if any brides have ordered this way before. i have a friend that did this for her July wedding. She ordered from WILLDRESS.COM. she liked the Alfred Anglo Fairytale dress collection and she ordered it and it came out beautiful...except for the color was slightly off but that was no big deal to her. SO...anyone ever order from then also and if so how was your exprience? Or any other online company?

I personally would not order a wedding dress online, but I order online for clothes from Victoria Secret. And I use Amazon a lot

Plus there is an Alfred Angelo store in TUkwila so I don't think you need to order one of their dress from online

That is a bad idea.  Go to the "Attire and Accessories" board and read the first entry for the horror stories about discount online knock-off sites.

Don't order online - I was really close to doing that when I found a picture of a dress I fell in love with. 1) I read too many horror stories about ordering online, 2) when I called one of the online stores to ask about their return policy, I was told they were going out of business at the end of the month and wouldn't accept returns, but 3 months later are still advertising dresses online - something seriously shady going on there.

Alfred Angelo has a store in Tukwila, and also several stores throughout the area that sell Alfred Angelo designs. I went with a picture of what I wanted and found the perfect dress quickly (even better than the picture of the dress at the online store), AND they were having a fanstastic sale at the time (about this time 1 month ago). I'd try them out. Or David's, they're everywhere. Online stores advertise for cheaper, but you get what you pay for - you'll end up losing out on that $ in the end. PLUS, where's the fun in getting your dress online? I HATE clothes shopping, but it ended up being fun to go try on dresses with my mom in tow - if you go with an idea of what you want and a budget, it doesn't have to be a nightmare process :)
