I can't say enough great things about Jen Lowe of J Lowe Photos. She was SO much fun to work with and we felt so comfortable with her. She actually works in Baltimore, so we had to splurge on having her come out to do our wedding, but I would do it all over again. She has a real charm to her work, and her photos are very personal. She normally does the E photos and the wedding, but since she doesn't live here we chose to do a day after session with her. We went to Balboa Park and the La Jolla Cove, and she was fearless! We were out on the cliffs, in the sand, on a bike! She so clearly loves her job, and it is definitely reflected in her work.
If you're not looking to fly someone across the country for your wedding, she has a former protege that moved to the San Diego area a while ago, Evan Bishop. He has a very similar style and if Jen likes him (and I know she does) he must be awesome! Check out his website, evanbishopphotography.com.
