travel...limo & cars?

what service are you ladies using? Getting a limo? A Town car?  And what company are you using and how much is it costing you?  I'm on a budget and my fiance would just rather drive himself but i think thats silly! But still want to travel nicely :)

We don't exactly have that problem, as our reception and ceremony are all at the same place (which is a definite plus; we have tons of out of town guests that aren't familiar with the area, so we'd rather not have them get lost). We lucked out - our "getaway" car will be my dad's BMW Z4 that he's loaning us for the day, so we can drive away with the top down. I would have liked to have driven off in our '67 Jaguar XKE, but the engine's leaking, and having the bride get into THAT in her wedding dress will be horrid. If he's set on driving himself, maybe rent yourselves a fun car and drive that. I know we were thinking about doing that initially, but in trying to cut costs for the honeymoon we opted to borrow my dad's car instead. Check it out, as it might be cheaper than renting a limo/town car...

We had my dad drive us off in his 37 Chevy. If you are looking for a vintage car or really cool looking car try checking out the local car clubs and car shows. Those guys love their cars and will often take you for free just to show of the cars. There is a car show at the Otay Ranch Mall in Chula Vista this weekend that will have tons of cars, the owners are usually right next to them. I am sure you can find someone to help you out.Good Luck,Melissa

You can also try hitting up the El Cajon Car Cruise on Wed. nights, La Mesa's Back To the 50's weekly car show at La Mesa Blvd & Spring St on Thurs. nights, or Escondido's Cruisin' Grand on Fri. nights through the rest of the summer to see...No guarantees on finding someone who'll drive you at one of those events, but you never know! :)
