DOC How important is it?

Hi ladies, it has been FOREVER since I have posted here but I'm finally back and trying to finish up details for my December wedding. I am wondering how important having a DOC is. My venue offers a coordinator but she only does so much. For those of you who used a DOC can you tell me how helpful it was and if you would or wouldn't do it again. Or if you didn't have a DOC, did the day still run smooth or were there issues? Thanks so much!

    I'll tell you in 10 days if I regret my decision or not, but I am not getting a DOC. I have 6 bridesmaids who will be around to help, and my cousin and her daughter will be handling all of the set-up details for me. Once the reception starts, the venue coordinator takes over working with my DJ to coordinate the rest of the event.I would say take a look at who you have, that you trust, who will really be there to help set up, and then decide if you need it.
