The Gardens at Park Hills Ky

Has anyone had a large reception at the Garden's of Park Hills (350 people +)??  If so, how did the bar run.  We will have about 330 drinkers and the bar seems so small.  They are unwilling to set up an additional stationary bar, but they assure us they can serve 350+ people from the tiny bar.  I think they are just trying to prevent us from drinking so much.  The more we drink the less money they make.  Any comments??

Ours wasn't that big, but we had about 120 downstairs in the Arbor Room with just one tiny bar and one bartender and there wasn't a single issue.  I was very impressed with their service.  Something to think about though- they pass wine to your guests as they arrive, so even though not all your guests will be wine drinkers, that will cut back a little on everyone rushing to the bar at once.  If they say they can do it, I'd believe them.  They've been in business for a long time and they're very good at what they do.  GL!

We've been to numerous weddings at The Gardens and never encountered problems at the bar.  I don't know how they manage to make things run so smooth but they're experts at it.  PP had several good points and observations.  (Would you have to use both upstairs and downstairs to accomodate that many guests or will the upstairs room hold everyone - or will you flip?)
