Officially Engaged! Wedding Planner-Coordinator???

I was just officially engaged on New Years.  I think I should consider hiring a wedding planner if we can afford it since I can see myself already getting stressed.  Any recommendations?  Thank you, Veronica

Congratulations!!!  What a way to kick-off the New Year!!!  I think you'll find the wedding boards extremely helpful; I know I did!

I just posted my vendor reviews (I was married in November).  My wedding planner was AWESOME and I highly recommend her!!!  Angie from Absolutely Events.  angie@absolutelyevents.net  I cannot say enough about how wonderful she is!

I'm going to be using Courtney Tibbets with After the Engagement.  I'm not married yet, but thus far she has been FANTASTIC!  I'm only using her as a DOC, but she does Month of and Full Service planning as well.

Several brides on this board recommended her, that is the main reason I chose to hire her and I am SO grateful that I did!  She has fairly reasonable rates to - so check her out!

I would def go with weddingsbybrooke.com shes always offering specials and packages.. super friendly and has a great team! She travels at no extra cost too. Thats who im going with and i love her!  congrats

I used Courtney from After the Engagement. She is awesome! She was very quick to respond to all of my questions about anything wedding related. She helped us with vendors when needed and reviewed all of my contracts before signing them. She helped us greatly at our rehearsal and our wedding day. Our ceremony and reception were in two different locations and it rained! So Courtney had to calm me down and prepare for the rain, make sure the ceremony went off as expected and set up our reception site (which was 30 minutes away). Our wedding day was perfect and I know that it wouldn't have been without Courtney. She does a lot for you and is so reasonably priced. I highly recommend her services!

I'm in events and I worked for a period of time with Rebecca Gaffney and Mia Saling at Red Letter Days Events LLC.  These ladies really have it together and remained so calm and in control during the wedding. When the time comes, there's no question I'll be working with Red Letter Days.  They are so knowledgable about the industry, and they are just such a pleasure to work with. I would really reccomend them!
