Chaz Bridal Consignment Store--anyone used them?

Hi!  I am thinking of reselling my gown and some other wedding accessories, like a wedding gown and bridesmaid dress I changed my mind about.  This place called Chaz on Montgomery Rd. in Silverton came up on a web search, but I am nervous about taking my expensive stuff there.  Has anybody ever sold, bought, or gone there?  If so, what was your experience like?  I am also going to Snooty Fox.
Thanks!!

I just drove past that store today! It's right across from the CVS on Montgomery.  I've never been in but it looks like they have nice stuff from the road view! lol . Let us know!

I had my alterations done there.  I browsed through the dresses while I was there, and they were super cheap- like $250 to $500 max that I saw.  I also heard her say to someone that it was $40 to set up an account.  I'm just wondering how much that leaves you with.  You could call and ask, I do know she keeps odd hours.  GL!

I would go to Snooty Fox over Chaz any day.

My stuff was custom made by a seamstress, and when I called Snooty was not too happy about it not being a name brand.  But I have a lot of stuff, so I might need to try all of them.  Will report back and let everyone know!

I live right around the corner from Chaz in Silverton and me and my MOH went in there one day and the person working was extremely rude and didn't even bother to ask us if we were looking for anything inparticular.  They have odd hours.  There are days sometimes when I drive past there  and they aren't open for days at a time.  They do have beautiful inexpensive stuff, but the customer service was horrible. I don't know how much bang for your buck you would get.  I would go to Snooty Fox.

Chaz is an excellent shop to take your wedding dress and related accessories to for consignment!  I would trust taking my items there any day over Snooty!  They specialize in bridal and formal apparel and related accessories for your wedding so they have tons to chose from.  Their registration fee is not $40 like someone posted, it is $20, which is comparable to Snooty.  Also, as of June 2011, Snooty no longer accepts wedding dress consignments, so Chaz is the best place to go.  I have heard nothing but good raves about this business, and their customer service is excellent.  The owner is very friendly, and helpful.  Since she is the person who does the alterations (which by the way are excellent and very professional), she is very honest with you in letting you know if a dress can be altered to fit you. An effort is always made at greeting you when you walk into the store and being asked if there is something she can help you find.  Rude, they are not.  Their hours may be odd and they are not open every day, but days and times they are open are always posted weekly on their answering machine as well as their website.   As far as not being open for days at a time, vacation time or merely being ill should be considered a resonable explaination. Effort is always made by posting this on the answering machine, website, and indicating on a sign on their front door. Please consider visting them, you will not be disappointed!
