Honeymoon on a budget

FI and I are on a very tight budget.  We want to take a nice little honeymoon after our wedding in October, with our big "trip" sometime later.  FI lives in San Diego, I do not.  My question is this:  are there any great Bed and Breakfasts or nice little getaways nearby where we will still feel like we are on a honeymoon?   Help please

    I would definitely consider going to Coronado Island. It's right there near downtown and a super nice getaway in my opinion! :-)

    Depnding on what kind of feel you're going for (beach, mountains, etc.), there are also some cute B&Bs in Julian. It is beautiful up there in the fall.

    Check out julian. They have tons of cute B&B's in the mountains.

    If your up for a road trip of sorts,
    Head up the 5 freeway out of San Diego and then hit up the 101 past LA. The drive along the coast is fantastic. Very fun and romantic. Stay in a B&B in the Big Sur area or Monterey. Make sure you stop along the way and take pictures along the coast.
