Out side Scenic area's for pictures in Santee??

We are getting married in almost a month!! We had reserved Carlton Oaks country club for rooms & then do ictures there befoe the wedding.. We Live in LA & visited yesterday, Not what we thought :(  Does anyone else know of somewhere outside thats close we can do pictures at before the wedding?

    Check out Mission Trails Park, and Lake Murray. I'm not familiar with the area really, but we went hiking In Mission Trails this weekend and it looked pretty. It gets hot out that way though...

    I think Mission Trails and Lake Murray are quite a drive from Santee. How about Santee Lakes?

    It depends how far one is willing to drive, I suppose. Mission Trails park (Cowles Mtn) is just a couple of miles.

    The ceremony & reception are at Santee Lake, However, whichever way you look theres people all around. We could make it work, trying to see what our options are

    People should be nice and get out of the frame when they see you in your gown taking pics. I see brides in Balboa spark every weekend in the summer, and people are super respectful of their need to have good photos.
