Kosher Venue, Beach, San Diego - Need Advice!

- Venue that accepts kosher catering
- Beach
- San Diego (taxi ride from airport)

3 things I'm looking to combine to create our perfect wedding! Does anyone have any venue advice?? I'm not wiling to give up but honestly am having a heck of a time finding a place on the beach that will allow outside kosher catering. Ideally both the ceremony and reception would be held outside.

It's not on the beach but it's on the water, try Marina Village.

Oh, missed the both outside part. They have outdoor ceremony space but I don't think they have outdoor reception space. The Navy venues have some outdoor spaces for both, but they have their own catering. Most venues will probably work with you to provide a kosher meal.

You might also try Balboa Park, though it's not beach front.

You could check out our venue!  It is the San Diego Rowing Club on Mission Bay.  We are gettting married on the sand on the bay side and it is just around the corner (like 75 feet) but not visible from the reception area.  The reception area is also about 75% outside but the indoor part has a wall of sliding windows that make it one big open space.  They also have a handful of heaters available for your use that are portable.  You can bring in your own caterer and alcohol but you just have to have someone liscensed serve it.  As long as your caterer is licensed and insured you should be fine.  The event coordinator there is really nice too.  The only down side is you have to rent all your tables, chairs and linens.  It just makes for a little more work but not a lot more money.  AND, I found it was about $1,000 cheaper to go there than anywhere else that would accomidate so many people.= with any kind of a view.  We have 150 people.  Hope this helps!
