Marina Village is what first comes to mind reading your description. They have a number of rooms available with varying capacities.

We're having ours in the hall at the Chula Vista Presbyterian Church and they're giving us a great deal on the hall and we get to bring in our own caterer. Those are the only venues I can think of offhand that allow outside catering. I think maybe some places like the Thursday Club or some of the Women's Club venues might allow outside catering but I'm not 100% certain.

I don't know about the price but there is a location in san marcos. It is gorgeous. I am not sure about the price.

Let me know if you want pics of Marina Village, I have a bunch from when we looked at it as a possibility. The best part is that all the rooms were being set up for weddings when we went, so that's in the pictures as well. I also have some of a few of the Navy venues. PM me your email address if you want me to send you copies of the pictures. :)

Old Richland is $2,500 for the venue. It is BEAUTIFUL... we are getting married there next November. They have a preferred caterer (who is very reasonable), but you can use anyone you like as long sign their "vendor" contract and you can supply your own alcohol, but MUST have a licensed bartender.
