Driving Directions - Are you including them in your invites?

Hi ladies,

In this day and age when most people have gps on their phones and/or cars, is this really necessary?  Especially when both ceremony and reception is at the same venue?  I'm trying to save a little bit of money here, what are your thoughts and/or plans for your invites?  Thanks in advance!

I put a small map (1/4 sheet of paper) in the invitations that included the major freeway, an offramp before and after and then obviously the streets needed to get to the destination.  In this day most young people will probably use their GPS or mapquest it, but the older generation very much appreciates a map.  When my MOH sent out my bridal shower invites, she didn't include a map or directions and you can bet my mom had a fit about that ("how will people know how to get there?!?!?!").  I think it is courteous to do so, but it doesn't have to be huge Laughing

We're planning to have all travel information (directions, hotels, things to do) on our wedding website. We'll put a little card in the invites that has info for the website.
