Wedding cake question

I am asking for a friend.  I can not remember because my wedding was almost 6 6 years ago.  Is there anyone/anyplace that makes weddings cakes to serve 175-200 people for under $500.00.  She doesn't have the largest budget and is trying to do her best on her own to have her perfect wedding.
Thank you
Kim

I would suggest she try Marilyn's Cakes in Ludlow, KY. She did my sisters wedding cake, and will be doing mine as well. She works out of her home, thats why her costs are so cheap. But her cake is DELICIOUS. Each layer can be a different flavor, with a different filling. I believe her price is around $2 a slice!

Also, I'd look at Flying Buttercream. It might be a little over that but I think her prices were about $1.75 a person. Hope this helps! G'luck!

Definitely Flying Buttercream! Her cakes are delicious and will definitely fit in that budget.

if she is in the Dayton area, check out Sweet Arts (troy ohio) Jami is wonderful and I was amazed at how cheap the prices were! I tried about 10 different places and I loved Jami's cake the best out of all of them, including the cakery, Lisa's, and many other high end places.

I am pretty sure you could get a cake for that price with my baker, Andrea Dee of Homegrown Cakes. My cake is for 175 and is less than $500. Good luck!
