Need suggestons please!!! HELP! lol

Hey guys!

This weekend is our bachelor/ette limo party and we're heading to Newport on the Levee... we are looking for places with DJ's (as opposed to live music) so we can dance and drink. The problem is we haven't been OUT in forever and we don't know where to go! LOL

I'm hoping you guys can help... suggestions??

Also- does anyone know how we can get into some places for FREE since we're bringing a big party? I would love some tips! THANKS!!

maria

Not sure about getting in free, but Arnie's (across from Newport on the Levee) usually has a DJ, there's also Cadillac Ranch across the river downtown.

You could try looking at www.newportonthelevee.com Also I know Bar Louie does special things for bridal parties!

Bulldog's normally has a DJ too...I know they have a cover charge most of the time though. If you're at the Levee the beauty is you can go anywhere within five minutes walking and most places down there now are catered to the "dancing" crowd. Toro is normally blaring dance music, too. Good luck & have fun!

Star Lanes has music - I think you have to pay to get into their club area, but you can still hear music in the bowling/bar area and don't have to pay to get in there...
