You're not supposed to advertise services on the knot's message boards!

As a photographer, I can tell you that any reputable photographer will have a line in their contract stating that they are to be the only photographer at the event (besides friends and family, obviously).  They will likely not appreciate a "second shooter" coming on to the scene (without their permission and not having worked with them before) and trying to get in on their professional shooting time.  It is incredibly frustrating for the pro who is being paid to get excellent photos to deal with another camera trying to get good shots too.  The bride and groom get distracted, and they become confused over who has taken which photos.  It's just no good.

I strongly recommend speaking to established photographers in the area and team up with one who will allow you to second-shoot or assist for them.  Good luck with your quest!
