boudoir pics

I would love to have some b-pics taken before the wedding. I know some of you have done this. Who did you use and how much was it? Does anyone know of any of the marathon sessions coming up? I remember seeing that some of the photographers did these.
TIA

I would contact Tine Hoffmann. She is wonderful at these. I am working to schedule another pre-baby body shoot with her. I did the marathon with Lucky Clover and I just dont feel I got my moneys worth. I ended up with only about 20 pictures and I hated my face in almost all of them. I guess others had a better experience, but I felt like having a marathon session limited the amount of photos I was able to get and I wasnt able to get ones I liked.

Ditto kel - go with Tine Hoffman.  I used her for bpics and she was FABULOUS - really the best in the Cinti area, imo.

If it tells you anything, I asked my wedding photog to do them for me (and I'm in love with her work), and her response was that she would do them if I really wanted her to, but that if I wanted the best, I would go to Tine.  To me, it says a lot when another photographer will rec business out and acknowledge another photog as the best in a certain type of photography.

I did one with Lucky Clover, I don't have my book back yet, but liked most of the proofs I saw.

I did one with Lucky Clover and I was very impressed.  I thought I was going to hate them (the pictures) and I loved them!

I contacted Tine..thanks guys. She said she usually does them at the client's house. Did you girls do it at your house? I can't imagine where in my wedding filled apartment would be good for those type of pictures...Besides the task of getting my fi out and staying out without telling him what is going on.

I actually did mine at her studio.  It was COLD (she had just moved in and there were heat issues, I think), but at least it made for good pics. Wink

Maybe that's a possibility for you?

HyperChica... I'm having the same issues...  She said she no longer has her studio and our house isn't exactly the best set up for it.  I'm doing mine in July and have been brainstorming for a while about it but haven't come up with anything yet.  I really don't want to have to get a hotel room because it will just add on expenses.  When were you getting them done?

I HIGHLY suggest Red door photography in Bellevue Ky. They are AMAZING!!!!!!! He has a lighting guy and everything. They have a giant studio with everything in it. I loved them so much that my mom and friend that was with me, are getting theres done too. he took 270 pics- for the book, photos, and CD I only had to pay $160

What about a hotel room? I know girls in the past have done marathon shoots and split the cost..
