Ladies who have used Cincinnati Museum Center

We are for sure using the CMC (we already put our deposit down, yay!) but I'm curious of other peoples layouts.  We are using the two dining rooms, and I planned on having dining in one room and dancing in the other- along with having the ceremony in one. Has anyone else done this? I'm sort of confusing myself!

I am having my wedding there too!!! I was going to do it in the dinning rooms but we moved it to the  rotunda and auditorium. In the dinning rooms we would have used the Cincinnati room for the ceremony and dancing and the other for cocktails and dinner. I think its a beautiful places for a wedding! Congrats!

Our wedding is at CMC a week from Friday. We plan to do as you mentioned and use the Cincinnati (back) room for the ceremony, the Losantiville room (front) for cocktails and dinner and then the Cincinnati room again for the band and dancing. I'll let you know how it goes.

Oh please do Deco Belle! I've confused myself so much with the logistics.

I would have loved to use the rotuna, but the echo really worried me. I'm just excited to have it there in general. I love the museum.

Yeah I'm a little worried about that too...but we have 200 or more so those rooms would have been tight. I love the museum too, I've been going there since I was very little. Our wedding is still a year away but it was the first thing I booked

Oh yeah, with that many people I would certainly suggest using the rotunda. I have only around 80, so it's not bad. =)

We did the back room for the ceremony, the cincinnati Museum (which was extra $$) for cocktails . The front room for dining and the back room for dancing.  IT worked out just fine!!!

    A few things:
--Andrea is awesome and you should take as many pictures as possible using the incredible setting.  We went up on the catwalk and got great pictures. and in the Cincinnati museum too.
--The Cincinnati museum was a little crowded for cocktails.  There were supposed to be people handing out glasses of wine for people as they walked in to eliminate some of the line at the bar but there was still a line.
--we did some pix after the ceremony in the ceremony room with both extended families.  that was a little confusing b/c i think our wedding planner was trying to get our (v large) families situated but then other guests didn't know exactly where to go.
--my mom did complain that she didn't realize that my dad & i were doing our dance, but others said that they heard the announcement just fine.
--our DJ set up so that we could have sound in the dining room (for our entrance, toasts, etc).  i have heard that DJs HATE the rotunda b/c of the echo.

I've heard that too, but we are going to use someone who has been there before, and at the end of the day they are getting paid....other people have done it so I'm sure it will work out fine! Good to get the advice
