So, my FI was previously married...and my parents don't know that. Neither does the officiant.We chose not to tell my parents because they would become judgmental, and we chose not to tell the officiant because he is friends with my parents....sticky mess, I know.
But, I was looking up information needed to get a MN marriage license and saw some images of what the license looks like. It looks as if there is a section on there that CLEARLY says that the person has been previously married. Is this true?
Are there different forms of the license that you can get?
We will eventually tell them, but we are less than 2 weeks away from the wedding and right now just does not seem to be the right time (with all the stress and such). I know, it should have happened a long time ago....but....
