Any thoughts on Paul Mitchell School for special event hair and make-up?

I called Paul Mitchell School on Lebanon Rd. and they said they do special event hair for $20-25 and make-up for $5.  This is a great value but I've never gotten this done there before.  Any opinions?

  SInce its  a hair school, I think its a tossup. I got my prom updo done at micheals and it was horrid. But a few years ago I got one done for a wedding, same place, and it was great

maybe go for a haircut or trial just to check it out.

Thanks!  Maybe I'll have a "trial" to my real trial for like a special night out or something to check them out at least twice.

I would definitly have a trial. I had good luck for prom and one of their students is doing my hair but she is also a family friend.

My friend Sarah Turner is a student there and I would recommend her, she does my hair and she is great

When you have the trial see how long it takes and if their supervisor has to check their progress. It be bad if you had to rush through the morning because of a long appointment.

My sister goes to school there, Sam Helton. She does awesome updos and is doing my hair for my wedding, and actually her and a friend just did a whole wedding party there this past weekend and it was a hit! Request her if you go there!

Great!  I will take a look at these students!  I am looking into doing my hair at the school for special events like my bridal shower and tea ceremony.  Very valuable input, ladies!

be prepared to be there for HOURS, and you have New students working on you, I got a HORRIBLE hair cut there I will never go to a school again, everyone tried to worn me an I Just wanted to save some cash, but was there for 5 hours
