Rehearsal Dinner locations!!

Hi girls!

I'm getting married in Cincinnati in October and am looking for a rehearsal dinner location. I want a restaurant, not a location that we have to have catered. Our hotel block is in Covington and the wedding in the Oakley Cincinnati area so I was hoping for a place that's not too inconvenient to both locations.

I had heard Pompilio's in KY was good but they dont take large parties on Friday nights. I was also considering Hofbrauhaus?

Thanks for your suggestions!

  • In Covington there is Behle Street Cafe, Chez Nora, and Molly Malone's. I know they all offer large party spaces. Are you looking for something more casual or formal?

  • We had ours in a private room on a friday night at Parker's Blue Ash Tavern. I can't say enough about the place- extraordinary service and of course food. So so so good and accommodating. At least check it out. =)

The View restaurant in the Edgecliff highrise in Eden Park.  It's conveniently located right between Covington and Oakley.  They have a private meeting room and will (obviously) provide the food (which is awesome, BTW...).
  • We are having ours at Montgomery Inn Boathouse. they take large groups but are more expensive. you have to order food for 20 as a minimum
  • Thanks for the ideas! I don't want it to be tooo casual, but nothing fancy either. Maybe a happy medium. I know Brio in Newport is a chain, but it seems to have good reviews and has a pretty big food variety (3 of the bridal party including me are veggies but everyone else eats meat).

I'm going to look into Parker's Blue Ash Tavern. Thanks! :)
  • try stone creek in west chester. we  had a party there and it was great.  if it;s more then 50 it might be too much.
  • We are having ours at McCormick & Schmidt's downtown. I'm not sure about pricing but the location would be perfect for you guys.

  • Try the new Christian Morelein lager house on the riverfront. Arnold's (downtown) has an upstairs for private parties. Local 127 (downtown) does group events and all their food is sources locally. Also try Niccola's in OTR, it's the best Italian food in the city.
