Poll: Fears

So ladies, what are (or were) your biggest fears about the wedding day?

Cake falling over?
Driver getting lost?
Dress not fitting?

What are you worried about?

Fears: Horrible food, wedding crashers/some of fi's family members acting out, guest leaving earlier/not dancing and starting late.

Rain...we're hoping to have the ceremony outside. Also, I'm doing a LOT of DIY projects and I'm afraid I might forget that stuff at home.

My fears are that the food won't be very good, and that my reception venue decor won't look the way I have it planned in my head.  :/

You know how they say music and food are the #1 things people remember at a wedding?

Well, my fear is that I will pay a lot of money for a string trio or quartet, that will play classical pieces, and my Vietnamese guests (who will comprise 90%) will be like, "Whta's wrong with Vietnamese music?"  FI and I have non-Vietnamese tastes in music.  But the worse that can happen is judging my family, thinking we're trying to be white when we're not.

I am also afraid that since we're serving Italian-based American foods, that our guests will not enjoy it, and wonder, "Where's the 10-course meal?"  We will be bringing in just a few Asian dishes like fried rice, egg rolls, and pan fried noodles, but the majority will be American.  I hope I won't regret my decision.

My fear was rain...and it DID rain on our wedding!! I was devastated the entire week leading up to our wedding b/c the radar called for rain all day & we had intended to get married outside. I soon realized that I cannot control Mother Nature and she did what she wanted to do! :) So it rained, we had the ceremony inside and everything turned out okay in the end....b/c I was still the lucky bride walking down the aisle to the same incredible man - rain or no rain.

    1.  My dress will be too tight and I will be horribly uncomfortable.
    2.  My fake eyelashes will annoy me (even tho I love the look)
    3.  It will go way too fast
    4.  The weather will be crappy
    5.  People won't dance
    6.  My hair won't look good
    7.  I will never find accessories that I am happy with regardless of how much I spend on them.
    8.  Things (e.g., flowers, linens, food, etc.) will not turn out like I envisioned
    9.  What will I do with all my time after the wedding is over?

    ....so...I am a worrier.

The fella and I are paying for ours, so my biggest worry is that the costs will get out of control.
