Bridal Shower location in West Chester/Fairfield area?

My sister and I are trying to find a nice place to hold a bridal shower in the Northern Cincy area-- preferably more West Chester/Fairfield area as that is more central for us, and for our guests.

Does anyone know of a nice place to rent that won't charge us an arm and a leg? I've called a few hotels about conferences rooms, but most of them want to charge a pretty high price and want us to use their in-house catering-- which is not what we are looking for.

Something low-key, inexpensive and a place they'll let us bring our own "finger food" type of things. Thanks!!

Have you tried the Holiday Inn Express in Fairfield? They are usually decently priced and don't charge for your own catering!

Yeah, unfortunately we have a big family and are inviting around 40ish people to the shower…  their room has a max capacity of 25, so even if some people can't come I feel like we'd be pushing it.

    Thanks, though! :)

Have you called Mullhauser Barn in West Chester? It is beautiful and I think I remember hearing that if you are just renting it for an early afternoon (and on a Sunday) that it was relatively cheap. I think 250. I will see if I can get ahold of my friend Sarah who had her sisters Bridal Shower there. I will repost when I hear back from her.

A place I hosted a girlfriends was DeSha's in Montgomery. They DO require you to order off a menu (that you choose) but I picked 3 things (a salad, a chicken salad croissant with fruit and a chicken and artichoke angelhair pasta) and they were all under 10.95 each person. The room is beautiful and we had to buy minimum decor plus we did buy a cake. They cut, plated cake and served coffee at no additional charge. Tea, water and soft drinks were included. I had about 35 people and it was close to 400.00. I was splitting it with a girlfriend and it was WORTH not having to clean up, and to have someone else do all the running around so that we could enjoy the games, eachother and then she got to open her presents! Did I mention again...we had to do no clean up....lol :-)
