Help!! Plus Size Wedding Gown

Help, I am a plus-size bride on a budget in Cincinnati OH. Ordering a dress from online scares me... but frankly so does going into the Miss Twiggy bridal salons that are all over town. Does anyone have any suggestions for where to find beautiful plus-size bridal dresses on a budget??

    Honestly, I had to order up due to my bra size and Bridal and Formal had a great selection under 1k. I got mine (you can bargain) for 700 and it was beautiful. Dont go on a weekend and you will be happy.

    I'm a plus size bride.  I got my dress at Wendy's Bridal.  But I shopped at David's and Bridal and Formal.  I thought all 3 places had a very good and reasonibly priced selection.  I agree with kelklump make appoinments and go during the week.  It's less crowded and you may not feel as awkward.  Bridal and Formal does have private dressing rooms in case you've heard otherwise.

    I have started looking around for wedding gowns (I am a plus size bride also) and I found David's Bridal had some really good deals.  Wendy's Bridal was another place I looked, they had some really pretty gowns but I personally didnt find anything I liked that was under 1,000.  Good luck!

    I am also a Plus Size Bride and I bought my gown at David's Bridal in Kenwood.  I was kinda scared because I have heard horror stories, but the ladies there were wonderful and they had a wide selection of gowns, in my size, that I could try on a really get an idea of what it would look like on me.

    I too am a plus size bride. I bought my dress at a store in Dayton called Bridal N Tux. It is a wholesaler of plus size wedding gowns. Their website is romanticgowns.com. I called ahead and they had all the dresses I wanted to try on in the store ready for me in my size when I got there. I ended up putting my dress on layaway that day. I got a dress that retails for 1800.00 for 500.00 dollars.

    I bought a wedding dress size 24 from Davids Bridal for $350, however I am not going to be able to wear it because I am having lap band surgery done in March and my wedding is in May 2012. If you are interested let me know.
