Outdoor Wedding: Bathroom Situation?

I am in the beginning stages of trying to figure out a venue for our wedding. I would love to have it in my fiance's family's backyard - they live out in the country. I would love to have a big tent to eliminate the issues of weather. The kicker? What do I do about bathrooms? His mom isn't one to be too keen on letting a bunch of people in and out of her house all night - and I can't say that I blame her.

Does anyone have any suggestions of how to handle this or has any experiences with this?

My MIL suggested we do the same thing, but as soon as I said "wedding dress in a port a potty?" she relaxed.  You can rent them, or even a trailer, although it is expensive.  Between rentals of tables, chairs, plates, silverware, linens, and worrying about rain, this is a much harder route than it sounds.  A tent doesn't completely eliminate weather, it just keeps the rain/sun that is directly overhead off.  Wind, mud, bugs, humidity....

I'm not trying to talk you out of it, but this was what happened when I thought about it.  Best of luck with planning!

That is something that I have been fearing too. I appreciate your input! And that was my thought too - a wedding dress/bridesmaid dress in a rented bathroom? I am beginning to think as much as I would love it - it may be too much of a hassle to attempt it!
