I need ideas of places to get married in Cinci, but not at a church.

I want to get married at a place indoors in Cincinnati, that's not a church. I know there are a lot of places outside, but I'm too afraid of having bad weather on my wedding day. So I'm looking for a place where I can have a ceremony indoors.

I need a place though that does not require me to have a reception there- as I don't believe we are going to a traditional kind of reception.

Please let me know if you have any ideas of places in Cincinnati, OH?

Friends of mine got married on one of the small riverboats.  After the ceremony, everyone went below for dinner while the boat was cruising.  After dinner, we went back to the top deck and it had been transformed into a Monte Carlo nite with chips that were turned in for prizes at the end of the night.

We're getting married at the 20th Century Theater in Oakley.  The owners are super easy to work with and create any kind of environment that you want!

Most reception halls have a place for you to get married there.  I had a somewhat non-traditional reception as well (casino night), and we could have used our hall.  MIL was against it though.  We ended up renting a chapel.  No religious requirements at all.

There are a lot of places you can get married indoors and then have your reception in the same location. I'm not sure what your budget is, but below are a few:

Embassy Suites (the City View Room view is beautiful)

Cincinnati Arts Museum (beautiful area for ceremonies!)

Will you cross the river?  I am from Cincinnati but got married and had my reception at the Newport Aquarium.  It was fabulous and I have only heard compliments.

There is a gorgeous gazebo in West Chester at the Voice of America Park.
