DJ's narrowed down, any suggestions?

We have our list narrowed down to Steve Bender, Party Pleasers & DJ McFadden. Please help. We haven't "met" with any of them yet, just got basic info. However, I noticed on this board PP is always highly recommended and even though they are on the top end of our budget, we are considering them because of all of the praise we hear.

    We narrowed ours down to Steve Bender and Party Pleasers. :) I left the final decision up to my fiance and since we are having a multicultural wedding so he went with Party Pleasers because of their experience with them and the fact that we would not have to buy music to give the DJ to play at the wedding. They seem to really work with you and your budget. this month they started a special going on until the end of October that's called pick a package where you can pick 3 add ons such as wall drapes, up lights, pin spots, or monograms for $500 more than the regular wedding package. Our meeting with Doug went really well and we are really looking forward to working with them. The nice thing about them is that they are not only DJs but also provide decor options. However a negative thing about party pleasers is that you do your planning with Doug but you're not assigned a DJ until about 2 months out from your wedding. If you want him you have to pay more to have him and he's pretty much booked up for the peak season pretty far out (not that big of a deal for us since our wedding is in January). So just a little bit of my experience. Hope that helps.

    I've worked with both Doug and 3 other DJs from party pleasers for work events. They are all wonderful!

    We had Jeff Clarke as our DJ from Party Pleasers.  At our friend's son's 1st birthday party on Saturday, some of the guests mentioned about how great he was and how they enjoyed our reception.  And that was over a year ago!!!

    We had Steve Bender.  He was fantastic.  We couldn't have asked for anything better.  He played the right music at the right time and the dance floor was full all night long!
