Inexpensive reception location -suggestions

I'm having my ceremony and reception for family only where I live in south Florida, but am planning on having another ceremony ("marriage celebration") near my parents' house in Cincinnati/Mason area to invite family friends and some long-time friends and sorority sisters can celebrate and have a dance party with me (the real reception is just a brunch).

I'm hoping to cater everything from a Costco but am looking for somewhere inexpensive to hold the event.  I'd love a park, but it needs to have a building in case of inclement weather.  I don't want to spend a lot of money since we're already spending a bunch for the Florida ceremony - maybe about $500-600 for the rental would be great.

I've seen some posts for Pattison Park in Batavia - do you have any other suggestions?  The wedding is March 31, 2012 and the Cincinnati-area reception would be some time in mid- to late-April so I have plenty of time but am excited to get the ball rolling.

Thanks in advance!

Sharon Woods also has their Lakeside Lodge. If I couldn't get Pattison Lodge I was goung to try for that.

I know $950 is over the budget you posted but if you find that you are able to spend a little more, Muhlhauser Barn in Beckett Park in West Chester is where I'm having my reception. The fee is for all day--12 hours--so no hidden set up fees will be there, plus they provide the tables and chairs in that fee so you won't have that cost on top of the venue. IMHO you won't want an outdoor event in April in OH. The weather is too unpredictable and this venue might provide the "outdoor" setting you crave while keeping you and your guests cozy...plus if the weather ends up being great, there's a large deck overlooking a pond.

I agree with Lisa, I would recommend some sort of indoor possibility just in case.

Muhlhauser Barn is a great location.  We're a big fan of it and the area it's in.  There is no A/C there but in April, you won't need it.

Thanks - my parents are in Mason so they can easily check out Beckett Park or Sharon Woods for me.

Try the new clubhouse at Voice of America park in West Chester. Its really nice and the setting is pretty.. you can pick your own caterer too. I think they are $800 including tables/chairs and setup.

Voice of America Park is about $1000 for us, but we have 250 people and are using two of their rooms. It would be cheaper since you're having 100 people.
