reception at hilton cincinnati netherland plaza?

has anyone considered having their reception or been to a wedding reception here? i fell in love with the photos of the rooms with all the lighting and decor but i know that it is much pricier than other hotel reception venues. i'm not even sure if it's in the budget (we'd be willing to spend $20,000 max) so if anyone could give me some insight about that, I'd appreciate it! I tried to find a price quote on their website but it's not very straightforward...

I called when I was looking at receptions sites and don't quote me on this...but I believe the women told me that they start off at $20,000.  The only reason I rememeber that is because that is basically my whole budget.  It is beautiful there but there are alot of other places too.  Have you looked at The Bell Centre?  It has really need architecture.

One of my co-workers got married there last September, and she told me they had to guarantee to spend $12,000.  I'm not sure what time of day her reception was, though.

Correct, the Pavillion (and probably the Hall of Mirrors) are $20,000 minimum for a Saturday night.  Check with tb583.  I believe that she had her wedding on a Friday in March, so it was probably less.

Is that $20K max just for the food/drink?  Or does that number include, florals, lighting, etc.?  The Hilton is beautiful, but you'd definitely be pushing your budget if you decide to hold your reception there.

We were torn between the Belle Event Centre and the Hiltons Contenintal Ballroom. At the Hilton the Hall of Mirrors seemed too cold (beautiful though) and the Pavillion was a little too ordinary looking.  We ended up picking the Hilton. We want a very formal wedding and we loved everything. The ceiling to floor window coverings and the gorgeous gold lighting fixtures and gold 'seasons' carvings on either side are just stunning. Plus we loved the thought of having the dance floor off the middle main floor and having it on one of the raised sides. We are so excited!!
