HELP: Location?

So my fiance and I just got engaged this weekend, and I know it feels rushed but we are trying to book the venue asap. I have always wanted a fall wedding, hopefully early-mid October 2011... the problem is several of the places I have called are booked! I want a Saturday wedding, and may do a catholic wedding then to venue in Hamilton OH. But if I can find a place that I love where I can do it all (non-catholic) even I would do it... I want something outdoor, but has an indoor back up... something rustic and surrounded by nature. Any advice would be great.

Welcome and Congrats!!  Do you know approximately how many guests you'll have?  That makes a difference. 

Unfortunately (as you're finding out), fall books up fast.  You're smart to start looking for vendors now.  One of my favorite locations from pictures is the Inn at Oneonta.  It's pricey, but gorgeous.  http://www.celebrationsbydavid.com/oneonta_gallery.html

The Hayloft Barn at Parky's Farm in Winton Woods is pretty neat. And it's sort of close to Hamilton. My aunt had her reception there and it was tons of fun. I am not sure about catering, etc, but the barn itself is neat.

Ivy Hill Country Club in Newtown. It is pretty far from Hamilton though. We got married in May and wanted an outside wedding. Unfortunately it rained that day so we had to move it inside. By "we" though - I mean "they". The venue did it all for us. Plus we had the rehearsal dinner there and they gave us a huge discount. Plus they have a house that they give you for the day and night of your wedding. The men hung out there all day before the wedding and then DH and I stayed there that night so we didn't pay for a hotel either.
