Opinions on Cinevita Films?

I am going to book my videographer by the end of the week, I promised myself!  And it comes down to two vendors.  One of them I already know a lot about.  But the other one I'm not too sure: Cinevita Films.  The guy who does it is named Braden.  Anyone have any opinions on Cinevita?

    I don't know Braden personally but have corresponded by email several times. He's a a nice guy, I feel. I'm also on Cinevita's Facebook page to keep updated with his current work and I know he has been working lately with the videography company Poetic Cinema.

    Who did you pick at your videographer, mahoganieyes?  I know you and I have been helping each other come up with one for months. :)

    No one as of yet. I thought about the guy from Brett Hatfield, but I really like the look of Braden's films. The video is so crisp and almost like watching a movie. He kind of reminds me of the gentleman from ZStudios(which was out my budget). I want to book with Braden but cash is tight for now, hopefully I might be able to book with him soon. I've also been contacting students on Vimeo.com to see would they be interested; some said they would be interested if still living here.

    mahoganieyes, I am totally feeling for you, cash is also tight for us!  The retainer for Dan is $400, which isn't unreasonable, but it's a lot when both FI and I are full-time students with no income.  I'm looking to finish my classes in the fall and the goal is to re-enter the work force by then.  I really hope to reach that goal, but by that time, I'm sure Dan would already be booked.  So I am going ahead and sending in my retainer now.

    I also looked into Brett Hatfield.  I agree he's good.  He was my choice #3, but I just didn't like his style as much as Dan's.  The determining factor was that I felt Dan was worth the $500 more to get the style I want.  For other brides, I know it may not be the case or even possible for them.

    What other students have you looked into?

    I can't remember names, I just went on Vimeo and plugged in Cincinnati and starting watching some of the videos. Some of the student list email addresses and I emailed a few.
