Dayton Rehearsal Dinner Location

Hello all!  I'm having trouble finding a wedding rehearsal dinner site with room for about 50 people in Dayton.  While I would like it to be a little less expensive, I'm quickly realizing that may not even be an option.  Dave and Buster's was our first choice, but for the price you are getting a buffet with food that doesn't look great and you don't get any sort of discount on game play.  Also, any experience with alcohol costs?  I'm working on a budget set by the in-laws and I have NO idea what I should be expecting with that many guest.

Is having it at your soon to be in-laws house an option? That's where we had ours and it turned out great. Laid back, inexpensive for them, and everyone was able to visit with each other.  My MIL had a variety of sandwiches from Jimmy Johns and salads and chips and all that stuff..... Just a thought.

Unfortunately, that wouldn't be an option because only his dad lives here and their house just doesn't have that kind of room.

I understand. Well not sure what kind of rehearsal dinner you would like - laid back, formal,.... but here are some options you can look into.

    The Spaghetti Warehouse
    The Olive Garden
    The Amber Rose
    Amar India
    Marions Pizza

Where are you having the wedding reception?  What part of Dayton are you looking for?  We've been looking around as well, maybe I can give you some info on the places that I've found

our favorite restaurant here in dayton is coco's bistro on wayne ave.  the food is fantastic and the people have always been great to us.  they don't have any real info on their site regarding fees or anything but they do give a contact email as they can host private events.  their website is www.228coco.com

i'm not sure if it's big enough but i'm planning on inquring with them for our wedding because i love the place so much.

I know it's been a while since I posted this, but I'm bumping it up as my soon to be mother-in-law wants to make some sort of progress on this.

I would like the location for 50+ people to be to the South, but I'm willing to be flexible and am looking at Franco's downtown.  I would prefer the dinner to be something a bit nicer than Marion's, but I'm keeping them in the running Wink.  I probably should limit this slightly to say my fiance doesn't care for Indian or Japanese.
