I am going to dress shop Thursday! So excited! Has anyone else done their dress shopping at B&F? Any tips?

i did and it was great. i actually ended up buying my dress across the street at wendys but i went to bridal and formal first. my advice is be there when they open at 11 i think it is.plan on being there for a few hours.......and go to the other shops in the area as well i loved wendys!  also...dont bring a huge group with u...like 2 people tops!

Bought my daughter's dress there.  Price is negotiable especially if cash!

I just bought my dress there a few weeks ago!  My consultant was Lacrecia and she was awesome!  I went two times so kind of knew the 2nd time when I bought on what style, price range, etc that I was looking for.  My advice would be to come in with a good budget b/c the first time I went we gave a huge range and the other consultant showed us only dresses at the top or right over the range.  Needless to say, I was overwhelmed!  Going on a weekday will be good as well to avoid the crowd.  You can also negotiate.  The only downside was that they don't allow pictures prior to picking your dress.  It seems like the other places I went didn't mind.  Otherwise, I had a great experience!  Good luck!!

I agree with allender, they have a lot of dresses in all different price ranges from like $100 to several thousand dollars. Make sure you know so that they will pick those that you can afford. Also wear decent underwear and bra, you are out in the open with several other brides doing their fitting in a large fitting room. 

I bought my dress there about a month ago! I found a great deal and I love love love my dress. Cynthia was my consultant and she was awesome. Also, I brought more than two people with me to try on my dress and it was fine. I brought my mom, grandma, aunt and my MOH.

My mom used to work at Bridal and Formal so when I got engaged, of course it was our first stop!  We worked with Bobbi who was terrific!  I didn't have a specific dress in mind but knew what I was looking for.  I tried on a ton of stuff to see what would look best on me and Bobbi found the dress!  There was no pressure to buy ever, and all the dresses she pulled were under our budget, which was great.  We went on a Thursday afternoon so it was slower and we were there three hours!  We had a great time!  Good luck with the search for your dress!
