Suggestions on Bridal Salons...

Hey everyone! I am going to start looking for my dress soon and was wondering if anyone has any thoughts on the various shops around town. I know that there are a lot of them and would love suggestions! Any I have to go to or any that I should avoid? Thanks!

I got my dress from Madison Ave. Bridal in Covington. I didn't have a huge budget for my dress, but I had a great experience there and fell in love with a dress that I could afford. The staff was great and I got a lot of individual service there.

I also stopped by Fabulous Bridal in Covington as well and had a good experience there as well, but they weren't as budget friendly for me. The staff was great there too though. I think I am going to shop for our Bridesmaid dresses there (they have a Bridesmaid "party" on Thursdays where you get refreshments and a special room for you and all your girls).

Lillian's in Centerville (Dayton area) is where I got mine. So many amazing gowns.

I got mine at Bridal and Formal in Reading. It can be hit or miss on service, but I had a girl name khaki (like color) and she was great. She was the one that even selected the dress I got and I was able to get a 10% discount because of my budget. A++ service from me.

I also had a great experience at Bridal and Formal with a girl named Lindsay.  She stayed in my budget and ended up picking out the dress I chose.  She was fabulous!

I loved Bobbi at Bridal and Formal.  I live in Dayton and Bobbi was willing to stay late and never pressured me to buy my dress.

I loved bridal and formal and my girl (cory). Go on a weeknight if you can. Saturdays/sundays are insane. I went on a Tuesday night and got tons of attention and found my dress within that appointment bc Cory listened to what I was looking for and pulled it first!

The first place I went was Bridal and Tux which is in Centerville. They had a pretty nice selection and the girl was super sweet. Bonus: every dress I tried on was under $400 bucks. It's a nice place to check out if you are just starting. I found mine at Davids Bridal. I love the dress but hate the store.

    Good luck!

I got mine from Wendy's Bridal in Kenwood - Jenny was my consultant & she was awesome!

I know some people are anti-David's Bridal, but that was the first place I went and I was glad I did... David's has dresses in different sizes. Most places I went only had one sample of each dress - I'm petite so all the dresses were HUGE on me & even with all the pinning back they do it was still hard to get the full picture. So anyways, since David's had dresses that were actually in my size, I got a really good idea of what style of dresses I liked myself in & didn't like myself in! It is a good place to start, in my opinion.
