Well; how are you doing with all the plans right now?
What do you have done, and what do you need to do?

Organizing the plans can be really stressful. Ive found that the sticky note accessory on my computer is very helpful. I keep track of the things I need to do soon, and the more important things have an asterisk next to them; and the others are just reminders to be thinking about whats next on the list.

  • If you haven't started planning, I would get the big-ticket items out of the way first; venue, officiant, caterer, DJ, florist, baker, dress...

    Best of luck!

  • I agree, get the big items done first. reception and ceremony venues, dress, DJ, caterer (if your venue allows outside caterers) and photography, once you have them items everything else will be much easier to do.
Reception and ceremony are probably the biggest of all that listed, they will help you with the feel of your wedding as well as help you with the type of dress you might get.

  • hey date twin! congrats on you engagement. I agree pp. Set your budget first then book all of your big items. GL!

  • first set your budget...then find a venue, caterer, photographer, and DJ.....ready, go!

congrats date twin, best luck with planning :) once you get the big things out of the way you can focus on the small things.
  • Congrats!

I would set your budget then look at all the big items first.  I have an excel spreadsheet with budget and all my to do's with deadlines in it to get everything done.  Best of luck!

  • Yes get the big ticket items done first and I found it easy to print the check list on the website and just cross off as I get things done
