Rehearsal dinner suggestions

I am getting married at the Madison Event Center and would like to have my rehearsal dinner somewhere close to there. We are willing to drive, but no more than 15 minutes away from The Madison. I would appreciate any suggestions, thanks!

Molly Malones, Chez Nora and Keystone... all in Covington. I have also heard of people having it at greyhound taven in ft mitchell, or john phillips in crestview hills... I had mine at all in cafe in erlanger. it was great!

There are always places like Brio or something at the levee or even the Montgomery Inn Boathouse across the river

Has anyone had their rehearsal dinner at the Montgomery Inn Boathouse?  I was considering it but wasn't sure I liked the look of the private rooms.  My favorite space is the upstairs room with windows looking over the river.  I think it would be fun to have a little taste of Cincinnati because almost all of my guests are from out of town. I'd love any advice/thoughts!  Thanks!

We had ours at the Montgomery Inn in Montgomery and I would HIGHLY recommend them. They were really easy to work with and while it may be a little more expensive, the food is fantastic, along with the service. It's definitely worth looking into.

muldoomi: Do you mind me asking how many people you had? I was looking into Montgomery Inn in Montgomery, but I can't decide on a place yet. I don't want to book something for a certain amount of people and end up too far below that number. I know I've got a ways yet, and could get a head count closer to the wedding, but just curious! TIA!
