CONEY ISLAND MOONLITE GARDENS

I am looking to book Coney Island Moonlite Gardens for our wedding next year, and was wondering if anyone had any experience with them or have been to a wedding/even there. What did you think? Were they easy to work with? Was it worth the $$$?

Also he is freaking out because of the one page contract. Please let me know if this is unusual or not. I do not want him to nix the venue because the contract is not 5 pages.

We looked at Moonlite gardens. But it made me really nervous with all the rain we got this year. When we went to go look at the place in May it was still a mess. Plus we have a lot of OOT guests and we wanted to be closer to hotels.

However, the people seemed really nice and were really helpful. I have seen pictures and it was beautiful.

My friend had her wedding reception there.  It rained all day but did stop before the reception began.  The staff dried the dance floor as best they could but it was really humid.  I also felt the bar staff was a little rude, but I'm not sure if they came through them or another company.  From what I remember it took a long time to get food and they were stingy with drinks at the bar.  But she had a huge wedding with about 350 people so that might be why.  Also, the dance floor is huge!  Even though there were a lot of people up, it always seemed empty.
Those are just my thoughts.  It was a beautiful venue, and that is the only wedding I've been to there so maybe some of that was a fluke.
