Bringing Own Beer / Wine

I brew my own beer and wanted to incorporate some of our wedding / couple themes into the brew to serve at our wedding.  However, we keep running into issues with the vendors not allowing this (a lot due to liquor laws and sales).  Granted we will not be selling anything, and really wanted to add this personal touch.  Have others had experience in the area with doing something similar?

  • maybe have your special brew in a special package as "gifts" there has to be a way around it....

I know that the Ft Thomas Community Center and Southgate Community Center (both in NKY) allow you to bring in your own alcohol and use any caterer you want. They are both really beautiful locations and can hold a ton of people. Only problem is that they only include tables and chairs in the rental, so you would need to provide everything else. Hope this helps!
  • I'm not sure where you are located in the city, but the Colerain Township Community Center has a hall that holds quite a few people and they allow you to bring in your own alcohol and caterer. You just have to hire someone to serve it so that they can guarantee people under 21 won't be drinking.

They also have tables and chairs you can use, but you have to provide your own linens/centerpieces/etc.

    Good luck.

  • Just thought of one other place that I looked at that allowed you to bring in your own beverages. . .  It was the Mulhauser Barn in West Chester. I think maximum capacity on it was around 200.

We are doing the same thing! We are getting married at St. Elizabeths in Norwood and haven't had a problem with it.

Memorial Hall and the Anderson Center also let you bring your own beer.
