What could my 18 year old cousin do in the wedding?

I have an 18 year old cousin who I have always been decently close to and I would like to give her a role in the wedding. I don't think she would be comfortable enough to do a reading, but I also think she is too young just to pass out programs. I already have 7 bridesmaids and two flower girls, and my fiance doesn't want to keep adding people to the wedding party and I really don't want to either...does anyone have any ideas?!!

Personally, I don't think she's too young just to pass out anything. You could always ask if there was anything she'd like to do in the wedding, maybe she has some ideas.

I don't think she's too young to pass out programs. She could be an usher or if she sings or plays an instument (really well) you could have her sing/play a special song during the ceremony. But I agree with pp ask her how she would like to be involved in the wedding.

Could she do double duty:  passing out programs and directing guests to sign the guest book.  She'd sort of be the 'hostess'.
