Hey girls,

I'd love to see where everyone is getting married! We all live around here so it's fun to actually see places we may know of!

We are getting married at Weidemann Hill Mansion in Newport.

I've never seen this place before, then again I'm new to Cincinnati, NKY area. Can you give us some general information? Looks really neat!

How many people are you planning? That question alone will let me know if my venue works for you lol.

So True. Our guest is small by most standards - but that place was even too small for us.

We are using the Embassy River Center too! But the whole first floor. We are getting married outside on the patio, the captain's room for cocktail hour and the ballroom for the actual reception. 

I have really enjoyed my experience with the Embassy so far. Shannon is awesome and on top of everything. It is a great venue for a lot of OOT guests like us!

I have my venue booked...I was just curious about Wiedemann as I had never seen it before. I did a quick google search and found their website. It looks very pretty! The porch alone would be a great spot for pictures! I love finding unique venues.

I'm doing my wedding and reception at The Center across from Fountain Square in downtown.

Oh ok, cool. It's in Newport about 10 blocks from the Levee. The max is 60 people for sit down and 75 for a cocktail reception so it is very small. The owners actually love on the 3rd floor of the house so they are always there when you need them. They include so much stuff and do all kinds of things not just weddings because I know she had said that they do corporate things. FI and I really love her and the venue. He tells me at least once a week how much he loves our venue which feels great. We actually saw it on TK and then looked it up with his GPS one day. It was great.

Ceremony will be at Mariemont Chapel and our reception is in the Music Hall's foyer.  I'm so excited to pretend that I'm in a Jane Austen novel.

What a cool life/story the couple has...to get to see so many couples and various other events. You know they have to throw their own killer holiday parties, etc. with the space to entertain.

Great idea on the thread. I've also never been inside Music Hall, so I'm enjoying the pictures. Once again...not from this area so everything looks new to me.

Our venue is the Cincinnati museum center....the ceremony in Reikurt Auditorium and the reception in the Rotunda. Plus they let you take pictures around the museum!

My picture won't post but we are getting married at the Beckett Ridge Country club in West Chester, OH.
They are associated with Destiny's Catering, which is pretty much the main reason we are going there. We originally had a different venue planned, but were thinking about Destiny's as our Caterer. We went to their taste testing and decided to go with them and their location. They are amazing, friendly, professional and great. And of course the food is good.
The price is reasonable and they do pretty much all the work for you, which I really liked.
And they have a spectacular view over the town when it gets dark. They are on top of a hill and you can see all the lights out of their big windows.

Yada yada yada, you can tell I'm excited

We're getting married at Sesquicentennial Chapel on Miami University's campus and our reception is being held at The OXford Community Arts Center.
