KY - getting ordained

Anyone familiar with requirements for getting ordained to perform a wedding ceremony in KY?  My brother is officiating the wedding and has been ordained by the Universal Life Church, but we are trying to make sure he doesn't need anything more to make our marriage legal.  My brother will officiate regardless, but we just might have to head to the courthouse on Monday after the wedding to make it official!

Any answers, or places I should contact to find out the answer to my questions?

Hello, we are also getting married in kentucky also, but live in cincinnati.  My officiant said that there shouldn't be a fee and that he should only have to get a weekend certification to perform the ceremony.  He is still researching for us just to make sure.  If there is a fee we are going to have our own intimate ceremony the sunday before on cincy since that is the day we planned to get married this year but had to postpone and still have our big ceremony with our family and friends on saturday.

It was our understanding that if your officiant is LICENSED in another state, then s/he is recognized by reciprocity in KY.  Let us know what your research reveals.
