Best Place for a plus size bridesmaid dress (BLACK)

So I am letting my BM pick any black dress they want for the wedding, 2 of my BM are plus size and I was wanting to know of a good place for us to go to look at dresses. Thanks

Honestly, I would try Davids first for sizing purposes. If you do go somewhere like bridal and formal, make sure they try a dress on from that mfg in the size they need (doesnt have to be the same style). I did this with all of my bm's and only one had serious alterations.

Any black dress, or any black Bridesmaid dress?

For any black dress, I'd try any plus size store (all I can think of is Lane Bryant, but your plus size friends might know where to get good formal dresses in their size)

For bm dresses, I ditto KelKlump

If it's just any regular/nice black dress, they would be better off trying Macy's (the one in Kenwood has a nice and well-stocked plus size section including dresses) or maybe JCPenney's.  They might also be in luck if they try Lane Bryant Outlet (not the regular Lane Bryant because they never seem to have much in the way of dresses in the ones I've been to in Cincy...they focus more on skirts and pants IMO).  There used to be a LB outlet at Cincinnati Mills, but I think they moved to the premium outlet up in Monroe.  I have bought a special occasion black dress there.

If you are looking for BM dresses, I'd go with previous suggestions.

Lane Bryant online will have a few more dress options than the stores.  I'm right on that cusp in size and I just bought my black bridesmaid dress for my sister's wedding at Davids.

I would look at Dillards.  They're going to pay a lot more for a 'bridesmaid' dress than for just a black dress.  I found mine at Penneys.  They are short, but my BMs have all worn them again (whoo hoo!!) and were under $50 each.   Most stores have a much larger selection online than they do in person.
