Caterers in the Dayton area

Hey everyone! I am getting married Aug. 2011 at Benham's Grove in Centerville. There are so many caterers to choose from! Any reviews on some good ones in the Dayton area?

We are using Elite Catering.  We heard good reviews from the place where we are getting married.  We loved the food at the tasting and they have been very helpful in making sure the menu is exactly what we want.  I also looked at Cardinal Catering.  I was very interested in them but they make you put down 30% of the total before doing a tasting so we went with Elite instead.  Good luck!

We used Christopher's for our wedding in October.  We were planning on shopping around but my dad put a end to that during our tasting there!  They went over the top just for our tasting.  I'm vegetarian but my mom, dad & fiance all got to try two different chickens and their filet mignon as well as a salad, green beans and macaroni & cheese and dessert!  We've heard nothing but good things about the chicken they decided to go with and the spinach lasagna was amazing.  They also offered us a vegan wrap at no extra charge if anyone coming was vegan.  They coordinated our table linens for us as well (through L&H Rentals - and they went above and beyond for us too).  The chef we tasted with hosted our buffet.  I definitely recommend them.  Make sure you talk to Holly!

I'm getting married at Benham's too (next September)! We are going with LMR Catering (http://www.lmrcatering.com/). They are a BBB A+ rated member and I read good reviews about them. They've been in business for 22 years and I felt good about their services and prices. The food is good too :).

We are still trying to decide on our caterer.  We have done tastings with Elite, Christopher's and Little Miami River catering.  I think we are going to go with Elite.  The food was amazing and they have been great to work with, very flexible.  I didn't love our food at Christopher's, thought the chicken was dry...but I've heard of other ppl who loved them.  Little Miami was in between.  Very reasonably priced and food was pretty good too.  Good luck!  Has anyone used Bellyfire catering?

A really good friend of mine used Kohler Catering (www.kohlercatering.net) for her wedding reception. The food was outstanding and presented elegantly and they were reasonably priced. Their event planners took a lot of pressure off of her because they also coordinated all her linens and china. The staff was very professional!
The company is well reviewed on several wedding sites.

    Good Luck with your planning!
Benhams is beautiful, and her pictures at the facility turned out great!.

We're going with Benham's Catering.  Their staff is very helpful, and they have tons of choices.  We're doing a seated dinner (chicken and salmon), and so far, the planning has been a piece of cake.
