I bought my wedding gown this weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so thrilled!  I promised I'd write something about my experience. I got to B&F at 9:30 on Saturday, right when they opened. They assigned me a bridal consultant, took me back to pick 4-6 dresses off the rack, and then took me to the dressing room.  The good thing about it was that I could take my time and really look over the dresses. The price tags are right on the gowns so there is no mistaking what they cost. My consultant's name was Lacrecia, and she was GREAT. She helped me choose without forcing a decision on me. THE dress cost $300 over what I told her my budget was. I said "If you can get this down to $800 I will buy it today" and she came back 15 mins later with a price of $800!

I was very worried after reading reviews that I wouldn't get good service and they would pressure me to make a quick decision, but that was not the case at all. Just make sure to get there very early so you can have your pick without feeling like you're in a cattle drive.  Happy planning everyone!

FYI- they were filming a reality show while I was there about Bridesmaid dresses - kind of like a Say Yes to the Dress but for BMs. The girl told me it's highly likely they'll get picked up, and if you want to be on there you can call and talk to them about it! Could be fun...or not

That place is so hit or miss.  When I went there was no way in h-ll I would've bought a dress in that chaos.

I'm really glad you had such a great experience, though.  I've been with friends for their weddings and its been like night and day.

I'm with you nics21.  I hated it there.  It was horrible.

I went on a Wednesday late morning over the summer, and it was awesome.  I also had Lacrecia--she chose my dress for me!  Glad you got your dress!

I had a VERY similiar experience!  I went on a Friday because I heard the weekends are crazy at any bridal store.  Hopefullymy dress comes in on time but I loved B&F!

me three! and i went there on a weekday afternoon when the place was empty. the girls working were more interested in braiding each other's hair than helping me.

I got mine there too! THE dress was a bit over what i wanted to pay as well, so she said hang on and came in much lower, got me a veil for 50 bucks and 20% off the dress!

I bought my dress off the rack here a couple of months ago for a great price. I don't regret it one bit, but I did feel like they were pushy. They have a great selection, but if you're looking for experience, go to Fabulous Bridal in Covington.
