Norman Chapel Seat Count

One of you wonderful ladies had the actual amount that Norman Chapel holds (since they have the spare chairs that are able to be set up)... I can't find the post, so do you remember what that count was?? TIA!

I emailed Leigh at Norman Chapel a few weeks because my numbers is over 200. This is her email response:

If you are squeezed in tight, the pews (a total of 26) fit close to 200.  I always say that they fit around 185 comfortably – that’s about 7 people per pew. 

 

In additional to that we have 40 chairs you can add to the back foyer area and also seating on those benches in the back.  The maximum for the building per building code is 249

Thank you so much! I knew I had read that from someone on here, I just couldn't remember who.  I was getting worried, cause last count, I was at 200.  I feel better, cause now I can add the other two people I wanted to add to my list!!

AH!!! I just had an epiphony (sp??) sitting here at work... I am at about 250 now.!! Hopefully my parent's won't think of anyone else to add, cause there is NO ROOM!!

I am also getting married at Norman Chapel.
My count is currently over 250 but we just started sending out invitations because our wedding is 6/12.....I am hoping that the number goes down as well due to lack of space in the chapel. 
Even though the chairs in the foyer would help to seat more, I am not sure it would look that nice. 

I am thinking that if they are late then the back should be standing room only.  That is just a thought, honestly I am just hoping that the number goes down.
